Davey sat on his bed, little black notebook in hand, writing. He wasn't sure what he was writing yet...lyrics maybe...a knock on the door interrupted him, "Come in!" he called, the door slowly opened and Jade's head popped in.
"Hey, you ok? You haven't eaten anything all day. I can get you something if you'd like." Jade asked, stepping into the room.
"Thanks but no, I'm fine. I haven't been feeling well lat..."
"Davey, that's what you always say and I'm getting tried of hearing it. I know when something's wrong, why can't you just tell me?" Jade said, interrupting Davey.
"No, not now Jade, please...I don't..."
"Yeah, yeah, you don't feel good," Jade grumbled angrily, "I'm your BEST FRIEND Davey, why can't you just..."
"Jade STOP, please, I'll tell you...someday, I'm just not ready yet, just please, leave." Davey asked nicely on the brink of tears. Jade sighed loudly and slowly started backing out the room.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to help, Hunter and Adam are worried about you too..." Jade trailed off as he noticed Davey writing once again, he probably wasn't even listening. Jade closed the door and walked down the hallway.
"I'm worried for myself." Davey said out loud even though no one was there. He looked over what he was writing.
'Life doesn't seem worth living anymore, I can't even imagine why I was put here in the first place. I met an incredible nice girl but what can she do...I was hoping she'd be nice enough to help but why would she believe me? No one would believe me if I told them about what happened. This thing has been haunting me for months. I know the guys are worried but I just can't tell them, I can't tell anyone, well not now, not yet. I just wanna know, WHY...WHY ME?! I'm being driven to the edge and I think I'm ready to go over this time, I think I'm ready to just give up. I don't want this to go on anymore...it's driving me crazy. He's after me, or am I after him? I'm confused. I think they all think I'm depressed, I'm not...I'm just scared. But of what? Him...he wouldn't hurt me...would he?'
Davey sighed and put the book in his drawer. He put his face in his pillow and just let it all out, letting the tears course down his face and soak into the pillow.
