» AS LONG AS YOU NEED ME-HELPING OUT

The next day Davey and I hung around my house waiting for the expected call from Adam or Hunter. It was around 4pm when the phone rang, I grabbed it and clicked it on, "Hello?"

"It's Hunter."

"Great, so, what's up with Jade?" I asked.

"Well...it's not too good. One good thing is we have confirmed Jade is not pissed, I think he's just a little...scared. I don't know, he's just acting very strange."

"Alright, well, do you think Davey could go home?"

"I guess, I don't know how Jades going to react when you bring him here, but I guess we'll have to find out."

"Alright, so we're coming over."

"That's cool, we'll be waiting for you. And thanks for helping him out, Sarah. I'm glad someone could get the truth out of him."

"No problem, I enjoy being around Davey, he's great." I looked over to Davey who was sitting next to me and he smiled.

"We appreciate it, really. Well I guess I'll see you in a few minutes."

"Bye Hunter." I hung up and Davey and I got ready to go back to his house.

----------------------------------- We arrived at the house and Hunter was waiting for us at the door, "Hey guys, Jade has locked himself in his room. Adam is trying to get him out. We really think something else is bothering him." Hunter explained.

"Do you think he'd listen to me?" I asked.

"You could try, you got it out of Davey."

"Davey," I turned to him, "Stay down here with Hunter just so you don't freak him out more. I'm gonna go help Adam. " Davey sighed and nodded, he and Hunter sat on the couch. I headed upstairs to where I could hear Adam banging on a door and screams of 'Go away' from inside. I walked over to Adam, "Hey man, I'm gonna try, alright?" Adam backed away and smiled.

"Good luck, he's a stubborn one." He patted me on the back and walked down the hallway. I knocked lightly on the door.

"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE ADAM!" I heard Jade yell from inside.

"It's not Adam, it's Sarah."

"What do you want?" He asked sounding pissed.

"I want to know what's wrong. I'm worried about you. You freaked yesterday, I thought you and Davey were friends." I heard Jade sigh and then footsteps coming towards the door. It opened and Jade stood there looking incredibly tired and worn out.

"I don't know why I'm doing this, but you can come in." He stepped back and I walked in the room. I took a seat on the bed and offered the seat next to me. Jade closed the door and then sat down.

"So?"

"I don't know..."

"Come on Jade. It can't be that bad. If you're not ready to let the guys know I won't tell them but I think telling someone will help."

"Alright," he started, "I know I'm not gay, I've had one to many crushes on girls but I also have this feeling for Davey. I mean, I don't think it's love, in fact, I know it's not love. But I guess just knowing that he had some feeling back freaked me out. I don't know, I just really don't know." I wrapped my arms around him to comfort him a little. He was seemed almost as emotional as Davey, except he wasn't crying...yet.

"Well if you know you don't love him, just tell him that. I mean, Davey just realized he's gay, he's still confused about it. He may even have the same feeling as you but has just..interpreted it wrong. I don't know how to help except to get you to tell him."

"Ok, I guess I have to. Thanks Sarah, for practically a stranger, you're a really great friend. I don't know how you do it." He laughed, seeming a little happier. I smiled at him.

"See? You're already happier. Now let's go get Davey."
