Saranism: A religion based on the beliefs and philosophies of Sarah Dashow
The "God"
My name for god is Michael, simply because I believe that god is a name for someone who's perfect, and seeing as how the world isn't perfect, the power watching over us can't be perfect either. He's no better than a human who just happens to be immortal and a bit wiser than all of us since he's lived throughout the times. But he breaks rules we consider laws, he goes on vacation, he takes naps and most importantly...he screws up. His purpose of existence is simply to make sure everything goes okay because he has the whole universe he assisted in creating to take care of and he might not always be here taking care of earth. He'll visit occasionally, and judging from how we are now he hasn't visited in a while, but he does leave a few behind to help him out, they're the ones who make sure everyone's fate is played out (which I'll cover later) and they're the ones who allow prayers to come true, but they're not Michael, he just watches over them, for that is his job, that is who he is.
Life and Fate
Everyone is born with their fate laid out. But everyone still has free choice when Michael gives them choices to choose from, the choices are always given in threes, easy, middle and hard, your decision making something either harder to get through or easy to get through. Everyone has at least once choice to make in their life, and it depends on your choices that determine your fate after you die.
Death and the After Life
Everyone dies, no one can live on forever, unless you're part of the undead, but people can be reincarnated. If they did not go by the middle path of their life they have no learned enough to go onto the next life and will be reborn again and again until their life follows completely on the middle path, allowing them gateway into the next life, a place of peace where no evil exists, a place called Heaven so although that is the name from Catholic religion it is the only way to describe the peace and tranquility and happiness that is there. There is no sinful place like hell because everyone must make the right decisions to go on and no sins exist save for a few exception (discussed later).
Some people will reach the end of their path where they are left with another decision, continuing on to reincarnation or heaven, depending on their situation, or remaining on earth until they feel they are ready to go on and try again or until someone makes them realize that they need to move on, these are the spirits and ghosts that still wander earth, some there for a reason, some there because they just don't know what to do, and some because they want to stay in their past life, different spirits have different reasons, but they do exist.
Evil and Sin
There is no evil except in people who choose to be evil, what is considered evil exactly? Well, it's someone who commits sins, a thing that is usually done during the choice of a hard path, although possible in others, but there aren't many sins in Saranism. They are not treating people as they would treat you (things such as adultery and stealing are part of this), not allowing equality among everyone no matter what, and killing people without a reasonable reason (that sounds retarded, but shut up). Anything else is up to you, as long as it will not bring harm to others for no reason or by accident. But those who commit sin in their life have no need to worry about being banished from the world or the wonderful life in Heaven, they will just be reincarnated and given a chance to try again. The evil spirits some people feel are the ones who stayed back for the same reasons as the "normal" spirits, and they're the dangerous ones many people don't want to run into, someone needs to help them move on so they can better their life and go onto heaven. But still, in Saranism no one need to worry about being tortured, everyone will eventually make it to Heaven in the end no matter what they do.
Conclusion
Saranism is a peaceful religion giving everyone hope for a better life and an even better after life, of course these are simply my beliefs and I don't expect anyone else to believe them, well, actually, as they say in DOGMA, no one should have beliefs, they're too hard to be changed...these are my IDEAS, my ideas on life and how it should be lived. So live free and live without worry of an after life in hell, because that's how life should be. And whether it's true or not it makes my life a little better to live.
